Hello, my name is Lucie Davidian and I write this blog, five years ago a whimsical decision made on a Thursday morning in Manhattan took me to Culinary School. Six months later, with an open palate I moved to San Francisco the city I fell in love with as a child and began to learn the art of cooking. With its abundance of incredible restaurants, fresh produce and sublime views, the city became the inspirational backdrop where I found the creative outlet that’s paved thes road I’ve been traveling ever since. That road lead me back to Los Angeles and back to the pockets of ethnic communities whose culinary styles, scents and tastes can be found in my kitchen.

I decided to call the blog Honey…The Sweeter Life because this culinary journey has given me the ability to do what I love and its helped me discover that life is truly sweeter when you love what you do. Honey reflects things that are so sweet my life would not be the same without them. Some of those things are mushrooms, bone marrow, cheese, avocados, Japanese knives, Puma sneakers, my beloved camera’s and of course honey.

My hands are an extension of my soul, through these fingertips I hope that my stories, recipes and photos will bring something sweet into your life, thank you for reading and Bon Appétit.
